Job Description

Be responsible for independently carrying out a full range of Nuclear Medicine investigations, including authorisation of referrals, processing images and performing non-imaging studies such as GFR. Carry out quality assurance tests on the equipment. Participate in reviewing existing procedures and the development of new procedures relevant to the provision of the service. Participate in the provision of training of staff and other groups of healthcare professionals within the Trust and other organisations.

Undertake Nuclear Medicine investigations as part of approved research studies. Participate in the molecular radionuclide therapies, including I131 ablation, I131 thyrotoxicosis treatments and Ra223 treatments.
