We pride ourselves on great coffee and creating exciting, healthy and delicious food and drinks with an emphasis on using fantastic local suppliers.

We offer a selection of freshly made sandwiches, oozy grilled cheese sandwiches, fresh seasonal soups, salads, smoothies and great coffee, using as much locally sourced produce as we can get our hands on.

Both locations were carefully chosen and are situated in sympathetically regenerated areas of Leeds. The initial site at Water Lane, within the Holbeck Urban Village site, and growing to a second site at the beautiful redeveloped project at the canal basin Granary Wharf in November 2010.

You will be responsible for a small team and have the following qualities:-

1 years experience in a similar speciality coffee shop

Fully Trained barista with milk skills and ability to dial in

Organised and a team player/leader

Able to work some weekends and early mornings

Reliable and hard working

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Ensure open and close procedures are followed including relevant paperwork

2. Manage the operations on shift and fellow colleagues

3. Check fridges on a daily basis and prep items accordingly.

4. Place orders in a timely manner as required

5. Ensure all deliveries are put away in the correct place in a timely manner (no boxes on the shop floor during service)

6. Ensure all tables are cleared and wiped when customers leave

7. Cash up at the end of the shift ensuring cash and card balance and store cash upstairs

8. Ensure all weekly and monthly cleaning tasks are completed and signed off.

9. Check stock rotation and sell by dates on all retail products

10. Alter bread order on a daily basis to reflect trade levels

11. Restock fridges and retail shelves daily

12. Ensure cups are branded with OOTW stickers

13. Send staff home as and when required to keep wages in check.

14. Complete the EHO paperwork daily and record any issues

15. Ensure that standards of food and beverages are maintained at all times, recalling any items that are substandard.

16. Assist in inducting and training any new staff to OOTW standards and procedures.

17. Monitor stock levels of packaging and advise as appropriate.

18. Put clean washing away neatly when it arrives.

19. Attend any training or meetings as required.

20. Assist the owners in the running and strategic operations for the business as required

21. Any other duties as required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 39 per week
