27,141 pro rata per annum

Salary: Starting salary from 38,682 (pro rata based on 30 hrs per week TTO) dependant on qualifications and experience

We are looking for a Speech & Language Therapist interested in progressing their career in working within a specialist setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing the very best life chances for our students.

This role includes:

Plan and deliver speech and language therapy sessions for your caseload. Work collaboratively with other therapists, teachers, learning support assistants and care staff

Monitor and report on pupils' progress

Provide recommendations and guidance to parents/ carers, colleagues in school and other professional.

Maintain case records in line with school policy and RCSLT guidelines

Keep up to date with relevant clinical research

Participate as required in the supervision and training of SaLT students

Participate fully in whole school training sessions and meetings

Attend and contribute annual reviews as directed

Play a full part in the life of the school community, supporting the ethos, rules and regulations

The salary quoted is based on agenda for change band 6; this role would be suitable for candidates with knowledge and experience in line with agenda for change band 6. We would also consider applications from individuals looking for a band 5/6 development post.
