Job Summary



We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join our team on a self-employed basis. The role involves delivering therapy sessions in a range of settings, including schools, nurseries, and home visits. There is opportunity to work with a mainstream primary school in West London- daily rate 250.

We currently have clients based across West, South, and Central London, with the flexibility to build a caseload that suits your schedule and preferences. There is also an opportunity to see clients at our Central London clinic in Knightsbridge.

This is an excellent opportunity for an independent therapist looking to work flexibly within a supportive network, with a highly competitive daily rate.

Duties



Deliver high-quality Speech and Language Therapy sessions to children in schools, nurseries, homes, and occasionally at our Central London clinic. Set and review SMART therapy targets in collaboration with families, school staff, and other professionals. Provide advice, strategies, and training to parents, teachers, and support staff to promote carryover of therapy goals in daily environments. Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical notes and progress reports in line with professional standards. Liaise effectively with schools, nurseries, and multidisciplinary teams to support children's communication development. Manage and organise your own caseload and schedule, ensuring a flexible and responsive service for clients.

Requirements:



Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with current HCPC registration and enhanced DBS. Experience working with children and young people across a range of speech, language, and communication needs. Strong ability to deliver evidence-based interventions in both educational and home settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with families and educational staff. Familiarity with EHCP processes and liaising with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload effectively.
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 40.00-50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 20 per week
