Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions to improve communication skills and swallowing abilities.
Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to ensure holistic patient care.
Educate patients and their families about therapy techniques and strategies to support ongoing improvement at home.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Stay updated with the latest developments in speech therapy practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Speech Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Registration or licensure with relevant professional bodies (e.g., Health and Care Professions Council).
Demonstrable knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to speech therapy.
Proven experience in conducting speech therapy assessments and delivering effective interventions is preferred but not essential for entry-level candidates.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards patients of all ages.
