Speech and Language Therapist
to join our dynamic therapy and wellbeing team.

About the Role
As a Speech and Language Therapist at The Cavendish School, you will play a key role in:
? Delivering both direct and indirect therapy across a caseload of autistic pupils with complex communication needs
? Supporting pupils within our purpose-built, enriching therapeutic environment -- including sensory regulation spaces and therapy rooms
? Working collaboratively with class teams to model and embed communication strategies into everyday teaching and learning
? Creating robust, evidence-based reports to support EHCP reviews and ongoing provision planning
? Contributing to the training and development of school staff and our extended community
? Shaping and evolving whole-school communication practices as part of a committed multidisciplinary team

What We're Looking For
? Qualified Speech and Language Therapist (HCPC registered)
? Experience working with autistic children and young people in educational or specialist settings
? Strong understanding of AAC, PECS, or other total communication approaches
? Excellent team-working, communication, and organisational skills
? A reflective practitioner who is committed to inclusive, pupil-centred support
? Enthusiasm for contributing to a therapeutic, trauma-informed approach across the school
