Job Type: Part-time (flexible)

Restore7 Ltd is looking for an enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to support adults with communication difficulties as a result of a neurological condition and / or illness. You will play a vital role in a collaborative clinical environment that promotes recovery and empowerment. Working under the direction of a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, you will help implement therapy programmes, support clients during sessions, and encourage participation in communication activities at home and in the community. Assessment and support with swallowing difficulties will be included if / when the SLT has the necessary qualification including knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and treat communication difficulties / impairments

Implement appropriate outcome measures

Monitor progress and provide feedback to therapists

Work directly with clients and families in their homes

Document session outcomes and maintain confidentiality

Promote a person-centred and rehabilitative approach

Requirements:

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy with professional registration and registration with HCPC

Clear and excellent written and spoken communication of the English language

Excellent interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and work in a flexible, evolving environment

Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes
