About the Role:
As a
Communication Support Mentor
, you'll work with students aged 4-16 who experience speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN). You'll:
Support the implementation of individualised therapy plans
Deliver small-group and one-to-one interventions
Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to create inclusive environments
Liaise with external Speech and Language Therapy services pre- and post-assessment
Help children develop confidence, vocabulary, expressive language, and social communication skills
This is an ideal stepping stone for those pursuing postgraduate training in Speech and Language Therapy -- and a proven route into future accreditation.

Hold a 2:1 or First in Speech and Language Therapy, or a related field

Are patient, empathetic, and excellent communicators
