What you will be doing in this role:
Working as a Part Time - Full Time Speech Pathologist; you will screen, assess and diagnose speech, communication and swallowing disorders then implement patient centred interventions.
You will report to the very supportive and approachable Allied Health Manager and work within a wider team of Allied Health professionals to deliver the Cross Care mission of providing holistic and high-quality care to all patients.

Who we're looking for:
You'll hold a Bachelor or Masters degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent) and be eligible for a Speech Pathology Australia registration.
You'll ideally have experience working within an acute care hospital setting, however new graduates/early career clinicians will still be considered.
You'll ideally have knowledge of and/or experience in instrumental assessments (VFSS and/or FEES).
You'll demonstrate excellent time management skills with the ability to priorities responsibilities.
You'll be a strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Weekend work available (only if you want to).
What makes you the right candidate?
Relevant Degree qualifications in Speech Pathology
Previous clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist with working knowledge of AAC (favourable)
Experience within NDIS and the disability support sector
Well-developed understanding of Dysphagia and mealtime management
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills teamed with the ability to work autonomously
Membership with Speech Pathology Australia
Experience supporting Autism Spectrum Disorder, Early Intervention, literacy and social skills is desirable
All successful applicants must have or be willing to obtain a Drivers License, National Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance prior to commencement
