We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Paralegal to join our legal team. This is a key support role, responsible for ensuring that solicitors and fee earners are able to focus on delivering legal services by providing comprehensive administrative and case management support. The Legal Administrator will play an integral part in managing documentation, updating case management systems, and facilitating effective communication between clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Responsibilities
Draft and prepare legal documents such as witness statements, court bundles, contracts, correspondence, and client care letters under supervision.
Conduct legal and factual research to support case preparation, including reviewing legislation, case law, and relevant legal precedents.
Manage and maintain case files, ensuring all correspondence, documents, key dates, and deadlines are accurately recorded and easily accessible.
Liaise directly with clients and other third parties to gather information, exchange documentation, and coordinate case-related activities.
Assist solicitors in preparing for hearings, meetings, and negotiations by compiling evidence, exhibits, and summaries.
Ensure compliance with firm policies, confidentiality requirements, and relevant regulatory standards at all times.
Skills
Proven experience in an administrative or legal support role, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong written skills, particularly for minute-taking, document drafting, and correspondence.
Confident IT user with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and experience using case management systems.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Professional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese
