Salary: Base 28-35K depending on experience, plus commission with realistic OTE Year 1 50-60K

Our sponsorship team plays a pivotal role in the success of our events by securing commercial partners who can bring genuine value to our audiences. We're now looking for an ambitious and commercially driven professional to join us in this exciting growth phase.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Sponsorship Sales & Client Acquisition
Identify, contact, and convert potential sponsors aligned with event themes and target markets.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
Conduct consultative sales calls and virtual meetings with senior-level decision-makers.
Account Management & Retention
Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key sponsors.
Deliver post-event reports, performance analysis, and ROI metrics to secure repeat business.
Event Strategy & Collaboration
Work closely with the production, marketing, and operations teams to shape compelling sponsorship propositions.
Attend events (UK and international) to support clients and identify future opportunities.
Market Research & Industry Knowledge
Stay abreast of trends within key industries relevant to GIC's portfolio.
Provide feedback to shape conference themes and ensure sponsor alignment.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
1+ years of B2B sponsorship, media, or event sales experience (more for Manager level).
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to pitch to senior stakeholders.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-starter attitude with drive, confidence, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commercial awareness and a keen interest in business trends.
Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
