In line with a key commitment in the University strategic plan to "increase community engagement", the University has a strong history in creating opportunities for students to enhance applied learning skills in parallel with their chosen academic course of study.

Such has been the expansion in demand for recreation activities post the pandemic, there exists a need for appropriately qualified coaches to deliver sport programmes in both the walking and running game of Netball.

Student coaches are invited to apply to work within the School of Sport and Exercise Science Recreation Service, as a member of the staff team responsible for delivering recreation level student and community sport programmes catering for young children (5years+) to older adults (65+ with no upper age limit).
