Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating primary aged children of all levels. As a Sports Coach, you will play a vital role in developing skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting a positive sporting environment.

Responsibilities

Design and implement training programmes tailored to the needs of individual and teams during our wrap around care provision. Educate children on techniques, strategies, and rules of the sport. Conduct regular practice sessions, ensuring they are engaging and productive. Monitor the progress of children, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance. Foster a supportive and motivating atmosphere that encourages personal growth and teamwork. Organise and participate in competitions, ensuring all logistical aspects are managed effectively. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coaching methods and sports science to continually improve training practices.

Qualifications

Proven experience in sports coaching, with a strong understanding of the specific sport being coached. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and inspire . Strong organisational skills to manage training schedules and competition logistics. Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches, staff, and parents to support childrens development. Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications atleast a level 2 required A genuine passion for sports and a commitment to fostering a positive sporting culture.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.00-13.00 per hour
