We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Sports Specialist to join our expanding Sports department to develop opportunities for 16-19 year olds.
You will be responsible for increasing opportunities for students to participate in sports by establishing links with other college, clubs and external bodies, and promoting activities to the student body.
A key part of the role will be to provide curriculum support a help to co-ordinate the booking of facilities and to arrange transport to and from fixtures and other off-site events, whilst monitoring and maintaining sports kit and equipment issued to students ensuring it is in good order and ready for use when required. In addition, you will assist with publicising sports, PE and recreation activities and the achievements of college teams and individuals through college social media channels.
There is an expectation that this post will lead activities with students so relevant sports qualifications are needed. This is an ideal opportunity to develop professionally in this area.
