About the Club:



King's Lynn Town Football Club is an ambitious club competing in the National League North. We are committed to creating an elite football environment and are seeking a forward-thinking, motivated individual to join as a First Team Sport Scientist.

Purpose of the Role:



To work directly with the First Team Manager, Assistant Manager and Head of Medical, to oversee and implement a comprehensive sports science and Strength and conditioning programme, for both individuals and the group within the first team at King's Lynn Town FC.

The Role:



Sports Science



Oversee GPS monitoring for King's Lynn Town First team, training and matches.

Produce daily/weekly/monthly in-depth GPS analytic report.

Develop and oversee recovery strategies for King's Lynn Town First team.

Monitor and communicate live GPS data on training and match days.

Identify patterns within data sets to positively influence individual and unit performances.

Strength & Conditioning



Design and implement individualised physical development programmes for King's Lynn Town First team.

Lead pre-hab and activation, on working days, for King's Lynn Town First team.

Liase with Head of Medical on injury reduction strategies.

Lead strength and conditioning aspects of pre-match warm up, half time warm up and post-match cool down, on match days, for King's Lynn Town First team.

Manage physical readiness of match day substitutions.

Applicant Qualification/ Experience:



Essential:

BSc (Hons) degree in Sports Science/Strength & Conditioning.

Have a positive attitude towards the role and around the environment.

Outstanding people skills with the capacity to build relationships.

Flexible around working hours.

Organised, reliable, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.

An effective communicator who can liaise with players and fellow staff members at all levels, with absolute discretion.

An ability to adapt to the demands of the job and needs of the First Team Manager, Assistant Manager, Head of Medical and staff.

A dedication to self-improvement and continuous professional development.

A driven, pro-active individual, who can work effectively both as an individual and as part of a team.

Holds a Full UK driving licence and has regular access to a vehicle.

Desirable:

Educated to a Masters level in Sports Science/Strength & Conditioning.

Previous experience working in a similar role within professional football.

UKSCA accreditation.
