Peterborough Sports F.C is a club with a rich history initially founded in 1908 is looking. For a Sports Analyst to be a part of our journey as we strive for National League football success

Ad hoc/ Matchday Fixtures

Role and responsibilities:

Data Collection & Analysis

Record and analyse matches and training sessions Ensure correct video recording and capture of all key moments Utilise performance analysis software (Wyscout) Analyse opposition performance to identify weaknesses and strengths Upload captured videos properly, categorizing/tagging /labeling for easy access Edit and segment footage as required Troubleshoot any technical issues with camera recording and uploading process Correct data security - ensure that all video footage is handled with confidentiality and in compliance with data protection protocols Keep up to date with new features, tools, and best practices to continually improve processes

Reporting, Communication and collaboration

Work closely with coaching staff and players to ensure content aligns with requirements Produce detailed reports and presentations for coaches, players and managers Deliver feedback on performance, highlighting areas for improvement Communicate findings to first-team staff and managers

Live Match Analysis

Conduct live recording of games using capture software. Provide real-time insights during matches to coaches & managers

Other Duties

Ensure the upkeep of video capture equipment Promote the club's brand and ethos

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in data analysis software and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills working with managers and players Understanding of football tactics and strategy Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to create and deliver presentations and reports Ability to troubleshoot camera or technical issues quickly to minimise disruption Basic IT Skills

Additional Info:

Will only be required to capture home fixtures unless requested by the team managers to attended and capture away games

Milage/travel expenses will be paid for any away games attended.
