Sports and Leisure Facilities Assistant ( 12 Month contract)

(Full-time 37-hour post with weekday, weekend and evening cover a three week rota.

Grade E, Starting Salary 26,835

Beversbrook Sports & Community Facility, Calne Town Hall and the Leisure areas at The Recreation Ground all play an important role in providing space for sport and activities in Calne.

We are recruiting for a Full Time (37 hour) daytime, evening and weekend cover post to strengthen our team as we continue to develop the services we offer.

You'll be assisting with the promotion of recreational or fitness activities, completing administrative tasks and maintaining the equipment and facility areas.

We are also interested is you have a sports coaching qualification or keen to develop these skills.

Can you bring:

- Experience of working in a sports, leisure or similar setting

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Competent use of and knowledge of basic IT systems

- Basic knowledge of health and safety at work

You will be responsible for assisting with the organisation of parties and other events, and handling customer queries over the telephone, in person and via email.

Understandably, health and safety is of paramount importance and you will be required to hold or obtain a First Aid Certificate and have DBS clearance.
