The ideal candidate will have an extensive knowledge of the Sporting calendar with the ability to drive footfall and engage the local community. You must possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will be responsible for supervising staff, managing bar operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons.
Duties
Oversee the day-to-day running of the bar, ensuring efficient service and customer satisfaction.
Update the sporting calendar and liaise with marketing ot best promote the venue.
Manage stock levels, order supplies, and ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
Develop new drink menus and promotional offers to attract customers.
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and company policies.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
Organise staff rotas and training programmes to optimise team performance.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase revenue.
Collaborate with kitchen staff on food production, including cooking and culinary presentation when required.
Requirements
Proven experience in hospitality management, preferably within a bar or similar setting.
Strong supervisory experience with team management skills.
Excellent knowledge of the sporting calendar
Knowledge of food safety standards.
Experience in serving customers in a hospitality environment.
Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations.
Barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a team effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in service delivery.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
