MW Sports Academy is a growing sports coaching organisation that delivers high-quality, engaging sports provision to primary schools and grassroots clubs. We are passionate about inspiring children to be active, confident, and enjoy sport in a safe and fun environment.
Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to deliver after-school clubs across 4 days per week. This role is perfect for someone with coaching experience who is looking to take on regular, rewarding work in schools.
You will be responsible for leading engaging sports sessions that encourage participation, teamwork, and skill development. Reliability is key, as schools, parents, and children will depend on you to provide consistent, high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver fun, structured after-school sports sessions (multi-sports or football depending on school requirements).
Provide a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
Be a positive role model, inspiring children to enjoy sport and physical activity.
Ensure punctuality and reliability at all sessions.
Maintain good communication with school staff, parents, and MW Sports Academy management.
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and child welfare procedures.
Essential Requirements
Previous coaching experience working with children (ideally in schools or community settings).
A recognised coaching qualification (e.g. FA Level 1/UEFA C, Level 2 in another sport, or equivalent).
A positive, enthusiastic, and professional attitude.
Excellent reliability and punctuality.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
First Aid and Safeguarding certificates (training can be provided if needed).
Desirable
Experience coaching in both football and multi-sports.
Access to your own transport.
