Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive physical activity sessions for EYFS, key stage 1 and key stage 2 pupils. Teach a variety of sports and activities, ensuring students are actively participating and developing their skills. Create a positive and motivating environment that encourages students to enjoy physical activity and a healthy lifestyles. Lead after-school sports clubs, providing additional coaching to students who wish to further develop their skills and interests outside of regular PE lessons. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during physical activities, implementing appropriate risk assessments and safety protocols. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help students improve their performance. Collaborate with school staff and parents to promote the importance of physical education and encourage participation in sporting events and competitions.

Requirements:

Relevant coaching qualifications Minimum 1 years experience working with primary school-aged children. Strong knowledge and understanding of a variety of sports and activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate. Enthusiasm for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles among children. Ability to adapt coaching techniques and strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. Reliable and punctual, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
