Job Description
FIFTH Movement is recruiting skilled and confident sports coaches to deliver high-quality after-school and lunchtime sessions within primary schools on a freelance/self-employed basis. We're looking for coaches who take ownership, create purposeful sessions, and know how to make sport accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful for every child.
About the role
Lead engaging multi-sport sessions for KS1 and KS2 pupils (e.g., football, basketball, dodgeball, tag rugby and more). Plan and deliver your own session content tailored to the age and needs of the group. Maintain strong structure, positivity, and behaviour expectations throughout every session. Adapt activities to ensure all children, including those with SEND, can fully participate.
What you will need
Experience working with children in a sports coaching, teaching, or activity leader capacity. Confident behaviour management skills and the ability to keep groups motivated and on task. Ability to plan and deliver sessions independently without set lesson plans. An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). Dependability and professionalism, schools must be able to rely on you.
