Sports Coach

to join their team on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Sports Coach, you will:

Deliver engaging, structured sports and physical activity sessions tailored to primary-aged SEMH pupils Use sport as a tool to promote emotional regulation, teamwork, resilience and positive behaviour Provide academic support where needed, working alongside teaching staff to reinforce learning Offer consistent emotional and pastoral support, building strong, trusting relationships with pupils Act as a positive role model, supporting pupils' social development and wellbeing throughout the school day

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children, ideally within SEMH, SEND, alternative provision or youth settings Holds a sports coaching qualification or has strong practical coaching experience Is calm, patient and adaptable, with excellent behaviour management skills Is confident supporting learning as well as emotional and social development Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
