The successful applicants will be employed to deliver on RB Holiday Camps during the school holidays across the West Midlands region supporting the governments healthy active fund initiative. The position relies on the applicant to supervise and lead sport and physical activity sessions to children. There is scope for the right candidate to secure continued employment.
The role is in a venue in Droitwich, but we do have venues across Stourbridge, Halesowen, Kidderminster, Birmingham
Key responsibilities
To prepare, deliver and evaluate well-structured and progressive physical activity sessions programmes ensuring a high quality, enjoyable experience centred around the needs of the participants
To take positive steps to identify and overcome barriers to participation amongst children, prioritising access and inclusion
Manage children's behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment
To carry out duties in accordance with organisation policies, including equal opportunities, child protection and health and safety.
To attend appropriate professional development
To be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children to participate in, sport and physical activity.
