St George's CE Primary School, part of the CDAT family, are seeking to appoint a positive, enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach who will nurture, encourage and support our children to enable them to flourish and thrive and be the best that they can be. Part of the role of this new and exciting post will be to deliver PE provision and develop sport across school.
The role will include working with a range of groups and whole classes, developing children's skills, knowledge and positive attitudes through a range of sports and physical education opportunities.
The role will also include work in KS2 classes to support individual children during lesson times. Under the guidance of class teachers, the successful candidate will support children across school to develop their skills in a variety of ways. An interest in developing our Forest School and outdoor provision would be an advantage, although not essential, for this position.
Additionally, the role will include the provision and management of a range of lunchtime activities and after school sports opportunities and clubs. The opportunity for children to take part in tournaments and competitions is central to this role.
