Assistant Sports Coach / Martial Arts Instructor

to join our dynamic team.

About the Role:

As an Assistant Instructor, you will support our lead coaches during kickboxing classes for children and adults. Your role will include assisting with warm-ups, basic techniques, pad work, and helping to manage class flow and safety. You'll be a key part of the team, providing motivation, encouragement, and energy while learning the foundations of running your own martial arts classes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead coaches during kickboxing sessions Support students of all ages and skill levels Set up and pack away equipment before and after classes Help maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants Act as a positive role model for students Participate in team meetings and ongoing training
Essential Requirements:

Reliability

- We need someone who is punctual, consistent, and dependable

Enhanced DBS Certificate

- Must be current and valid (or willing to obtain)

Own transport

- You must be able to travel to various class locations across Bournemouth and surrounding areas Willingness to work evenings and weekends Good communication and interpersonal skills Passion for martial arts, sports coaching, or working with children and young people
