At Edstart Liverpool South, we believe every child deserves an Edstart. We provide high-quality sports coaching across primary schools, community sessions, and holiday clubs, inspiring children to be active, confident, and to develop a lifelong love of sport.

The Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and passionate Sports Coach to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working with children, enjoys a variety of sports, and wants to make a difference in the community.

What You'll Do:

Deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons and after-school clubs in primary schools. Lead fun and safe sessions in our community programmes and holiday clubs. Encourage and inspire children of all abilities to be active and enjoy sport. Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and our team to create a positive environment.
What We're Looking For:

Previous experience coaching or working with children. Confident leading a variety of sports and physical activities. Friendly, approachable, and able to build strong relationships. Reliable, organised, and able to work independently. A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one). Relevant coaching qualifications (minimum Level 1, Level 2 preferred) or equivalent experience.

Hours & Pay:

Part-time hours, flexible around school and holiday club schedules. Competitive rate based on qualifications and experience.
