We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspiring and guiding participants of all ages and skill levels in various sports activities. Duties
Plan and deliver engaging sports coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
Organise training programmes, drills, and activities that promote skill development and teamwork
Provide clear instructions and constructive feedback to participants to enhance their performance
Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to health and safety guidelines during activities
Motivate participants to foster confidence, sportsmanship, and a love for physical activity
Monitor progress and maintain records of participant achievements and attendance
Collaborate with other coaches and staff to organise sports events, competitions, and community outreach programmes
Promote inclusive participation by adapting activities for individuals with diverse needs or abilities
Skills
Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching within a similar environment
Strong knowledge of various sports rules, techniques, and safety procedures
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
Organised with the ability to plan effective training sessions and manage group dynamics
Ability to adapt coaching methods to suit different age groups and skill levels
Enthusiastic team player committed to fostering a positive sporting environment
Valid certification in first aid is desirable but not essential; willingness to undertake relevant training is required
