Primary Sports Coaching Limited are looking for sports minded, enthusiastic and responsible coaches to join our team.
As a primary school sports coach, you will deliver engaging sports and activities during lunchtimes and after school clubs. There is the opportunity to gain further work:

During school holidays you will work alongside our experienced team to deliver outstanding holiday course provision in Stockport and South Manchester.
The hours of work can be amended to fit in with prior commitments such as university or childcare.

Work patterns
School term time
Monday - Friday
Active lunchtime - 11.45am - 1.30pm (times may vary for each school)
After school club - 3pm - 4.45pm (times may vary for each school)
School holidays
3 days per week, 6 hours per day, hours can be flexible. During most school holidays we will be able to offer extra hours.
Key responsibilities include:
To prepare, deliver and well-structured sports and physical activity sessions programmes ensuring a high quality, enjoyable experience centred around the needs of the participants
Engage primary school pupils in physical activity at lunchtimes
Maintain appropriate planning and participation records
Complete risk assessments
Manage children's behaviour to ensure a positive learning environment
To carry out duties in accordance with the Primary Sports Coaching Limited's and awarding organisation policies, including equal opportunities, child protection and health and safety.
To attend appropriate professional development
To be a positive role model, creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage children to participate in sport and physical activity
Assist with promoting Primary Sports Coaching Limited's products and services

Qualifications (minimum requirement):
Level 1 NGB Coaching Qualification in at least 1 mainstream sport
First Aid qualification
Safeguarding training (will be updated annually)

This job is subject to receipt of an enhanced DBS disclosure and rigorous background checks
