Bloom Partners is in a period of exciting growth -- having secured a major new client in the
sports events sector
, we are scaling our Projects team to deliver high-impact live events across the UK. This is a chance to join a company deliberately investing in talent and expansion. While the role is based on-site in Birmingham, our broader ambition could see future regional roll-out (not required for this role).
Why This Role is a Stand-Out
We're seeking someone who doesn't just want to coordinate events, but someone who sees sports as more than a pastime -- someone who thrives on delivering live experiences, enjoys working in dynamic environments, and wants a career, not just a job.
Here's what we offer:
Competitive base salary plus
performance-based incentives
Quarterly competitions
with high-end prizes: think international travel, cutting-edge tech gadgets, VIP passes to major sports events
Full-time, on-site role with support and training built in
A clear trajectory: as our sports-events portfolio grows, you'll be positioned to take on greater responsibility and become a key member of the team
Work with events across some of Britain's most popular sports,
including football, tennis, golf, boxing and more
, tapping into huge audience and participation bases.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinate all aspects of sporting events: logistics, venue setup, supplier management, on-site execution
Liaise with clients, sports organisations, athletes or teams, vendors and internal teams
Manage timelines, budgets, resource schedules and quality checks
Support the team during live event days: ensuring everything runs smoothly, issues are resolved, and the client experience is top-tier
Review event outcomes, capture learnings and contribute to future event planning
What We're Looking For
We want a candidate who:
Has at least 2 years' experience in event coordination, project support, sports operations or a similar role
Has a genuine passion for sport (whether from playing, following or working in the sector)
Works well under pressure, thrives in fast-moving live event environments
Is highly organised, communicates clearly and excels at multi-tasking
Can work full-time, on-site in Birmingham Jewellery Quarter
Is eager to build a career in sports event management, not just chase a short-term role
What We Offer
Competitive salary + incentive structure and exciting rewards for high performers
On-site full-time role with no remote/hybrid split
Training and support to help you grow your career into event ownership and leadership
A role in a company with genuine investment behind its sports-event ambitions and growth across the UK
The opportunity to deliver memorable sports experiences and play a major role in their success
Working Hours
Full-time, on-site only. The role will include event day shifts, which may include evenings or weekends as required by live sports schedules.
How to Apply
If you're passionate about sport, ready to make a tangible impact and looking for a long-term career in events, please apply with your CV and a covering statement explaining why you're a great fit. We look forward to reviewing your application.
