35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, permanent position. Actual salary starting from 31,877 to 35,264.00 per annum DOE



Final hours to be agreed & will be subject to current programme of lettings, however the hours will primarily be evening (after 4.30pm) and weekends to cover the management of the 3G pitch out of school hours.

When fully operational the 3G pitch opening hours will be 5pm to 10pm, weekdays and 9am to 8pm on weekends.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sports manager to lead the school in our exciting new venture of creating a Football Hub of excellence.

This is an exciting time to join the team at Wollaston School. Our new 3G pitch is now ready to use and the associated pavilion will be ready in December. This will provide amazing training and match facilities for the local community. Our local community is very important to us and we want them to be able to have access to our new facilities to increase their participation in sporting activity.

We have already been working alongside our Partner clubs regarding using the facilities and have ambitious targets on how we want to develop these. The successful candidate will continue to develop and strengthen this relationship to ensure these ambitions are realised.

Alongside this you will also take over and continue to develop our already successful lettings of the existing playing fields, Multi- Use Games Area and other facilities in the school.

This will be small team of 3 compromising of the Sports Facilities and Lettings Manager, Sports Operative and Sports Apprentice but you will be supported by the whole school. We are looking for someone who can deliver an exceptionally high standard of customer service.

A strong candidate is an individual with experience of managing a facility with a 3G pitch and have experience of working with the FA.

The post holder will preferably have experience of social media marketing to maximise usage and driving greater visibility of the facilities to potential users.
