Are you a recent graduate, or perhaps taking a placement year, with a passion for sports and education? Are you ready to kickstart your career and make a real impact? Banstead Prep School is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and driven Sports Graduate to join our team!

This one-year, fixed-term role (35 weeks plus INSET days) offers the perfect opportunity to support both sports and classroom-based lessons, helping us maintain the highest standards of teaching, learning, and pastoral care.

To be successful in this role, you'll need experience in netball, swimming, or hockey, as you'll play a key part in supporting girls' games across the school.

Role:

This is a unique chance to immerse yourself in all aspects of school life, working alongside experienced teachers and coaches in a supportive, hands-on environment. You'll gain valuable experience in a variety of roles - from coaching and refereeing sports, assisting with classroom lessons, to engaging in a wide range of extracurricular activities that bring the school community together.

At Banstead Prep, you'll have access to excellent sports facilities, including a swimming pool, full-size astro, and on-site playing fields. You'll work with children across different age groups, including inspiring our youngest pupils as they learn the foundations of sport.

If you have experience in one or more of the following sports - netball, hockey, or swimming - we'd love to hear from you. These are key areas in our games programme, and while coaching qualifications are a bonus, they're not essential.

This role is the ideal opportunity to explore whether a career in education or sports coaching is the right fit for you. You'll gain hands-on experience while being part of a supportive, dynamic environment.
