Requirements for the role:
To be able to teach sport coaching and personal fitness on a range of sports courses from Level 1 to HND Level 5.
You will be expected to hold an appropriate qualification in sport at HND or degree level and ideally hold a teaching qualification. The ideal candidate must also hold a personal training qualification.
It will be expected that you will have gained industrial experience working in the environment of sport.
Responsibilities for the role:
You will be responsible for lecturing on a variety of topics with reference to sports coaching, personal fitness and sports science.
You will be responsible for developing resources for teaching and learning.
You will be responsible for supporting learners through the teaching and tutorial processes.
Accurate and secure record keeping, tracking learners' attendance, behaviour and progress.
GDPR compliance
Keeping up to date with developments in the sports industry and continuing with your professional development.
The Location:
The site is based in both Wigston and Nuneaton. These are great places to live with plenty of social and other facilities together with good transport links.
