Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide therapeutic massage services to clients, helping them achieve relaxation, pain relief, and overall wellness. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs and tailoring treatments accordingly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, along with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences. Provide a variety of massage techniques, focusing on deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy as needed. Develop personalized treatment plans that address pain management and promote overall health. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health regulations. Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices. Keep accurate records of client sessions, including treatment notes and progress updates. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Experience

Proven experience in providing high-quality massage therapy services is preferred. Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health is essential. Previous experience in a medical spa setting is a plus but not mandatory. Strong patient service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and concerns. A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and techniques is highly valued.
