Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sports Massage Therapist to join our well-established team. The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of various massage techniques and anatomy, to ensure they provide an effective massage therapy service to our clients.

Duties

Consult with clients to assess their needs and develop personalised massage plans.

Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue and sports massage.

Keep accurate computerised records of client treatments and progress, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Provide clients with advice on post-treatment care.

Follow health and safety regulations and the standard operating procedures of the clinic.

Qualifications

Valid certificate in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.

Valid certificate for Professional Liability Insurance.

Experience

Previous experience in a sports massage role (voluntary or paid)

Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of human anatomy and physiology

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Ability to develop their own case load as well as accepting referrals from our physiotherapy team
