Zero contract,

Variable. Minimum of 8 hours a week to support with clinics, training and games.

Working Pattern:

Monday 1pm - 5pm, Wednesday 12-4pm



The successful individual will be responsible for working with our College Football Programme Players (Ages 16-19). Running a clinic once a week and providing pitch-side first aid/trauma management during fixtures if qualified. They will report to the Under 18's Head and Assist Coach.

Key Responsibilities





1.Injury Diagnosis and Treatment

Conduct thorough assessments of injuries sustained by players during training sessions and matches. Use clinical reasoning and relevant diagnostic tools to identify the nature and extent of injuries. Provide immediate and appropriate treatment plans, including first aid, physical therapy modalities, and referrals to medical specialists as necessary.


2. Injury Rehabilitation and Management

Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs aimed at safe and effective recovery. Monitor and document player progress throughout rehabilitation, adjusting treatment plans based on response and recovery timelines. Educate players on injury prevention techniques, safe return-to-play protocols, and ongoing injury management strategies.


3. Clinic Management

Plan, organize, and run a weekly clinic focused on injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records of all player interactions, treatments, and rehabilitation progress. Ensure the clinic environment complies with health and safety regulations, and is equipped with necessary medical supplies and equipment.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise



Completed BSc in Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy, or Sports Rehabilitation (or currently working towards completion). Candidates must be a minimum of a 3rd-year student and have completed at least one musculoskeletal placement. Valid first aid qualifications or equivalent. Registered with one or more of the following professional bodies: HCPC, CSP, SST, or BASRaT. FA Level 2 First Aid qualification or equivalent certification
