Shogun Practical Karate

delivers high-energy before and after school sports programmes while developing confidence, discipline and life skills in young people. We are now growing and looking for a driven, people-focused individual to join our team. No martial arts experience is required - full training is provided.

Role Overview

This is a

hybrid role combining coaching and membership growth

. You will have two main responsibilities:

1. Coaching (Core Hours)

Deliver fun, structured before and after school karate clubs (ages 5-11) Lead simple class formats after training and shadowing Build confidence, teamwork and discipline in children Represent the club's values in local primary schools

2. Membership Growth (Flexible Hours)

Contact new enquiries generated from Facebook and our website Hold friendly follow-up conversations by phone and WhatsApp Book trial lessons and convert them into long-term members Help grow the club and your earnings
Working Hours

Monday to Friday:

8:00-8:45am and 3:00-4:30pm (required) Daytime hours in between for follow-up and admin (flexible) Some evening follow-up (when leads are active) Work-from-home flexibility outside school session times
Earnings & Benefits

Starting basic:

200/week

, rising to

300/week based on performance

Uncapped commission - OTE 35,000+ achievable

Pay increases linked to reliability and sales performance 8-12 week structured training and shadowing period Pathway to

Instructor Levels 1-3

and leadership opportunities Enhanced DBS funded by company Black belt development pathway
Ideal Candidate

This role would suit someone with a background or interest in

sport, fitness, coaching, childcare, sales or customer service

. You should be:

Confident speaking with people Motivated by personal growth and performance rewards Reliable and punctual (schools depend on us) Great at building rapport with parents and children Organised, positive and energetic
Essential Requirements

Candidates must:

Hold a

full UK driving licence and have their own car

Live within

40 minutes of Watford/Harrow area

Be confident using phone, WhatsApp and email Have the right to work in the UK Be able to commit to morning and afternoon school session times
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 20.00-30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
