AS2Educate is a KS4 and Post 16 Alternative Education Provision. We are seeking a Sports and Enrichment Lead to join our expanding and dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of our high-quality physical education and enrichment programme, both onsite and offsite, while also providing pastoral support to students across the provision. The successful candidate will inspire young people through sport, creative enrichment, outdoor learning and bushcraft, helping them thrive through structured activity, teamwork, and compassionate mentoring.

At AS2Educate, we value relationships, creativity and holistic development. As our Sports and Enrichment Lead, you will:
Deliver a broad and ambitious sports and enrichment curriculum, including Fundamentals, Games, Dance, Gymnastics, Athletics, Swimming, Outdoor Adventure Activities and Bushcraft.
Plan and deliver a recognised Level 1 Sports Qualification, supporting students to achieve accredited outcomes that build confidence, employability and future opportunities.
Make creative use of offsite facilities such as leisure centres, sports clubs, forest school sites, and local community venues to broaden student experiences.
Liaise with external sports providers to make bookings for their facilities and arrange specialist sports professionals to deliver coaching sessions that enhance the curriculum.
Support children's understanding of health, fitness, teamwork, safety in sport, and outdoor survival skills.
Create engaging, inclusive and motivating physical, creative and outdoor enrichment sessions.
Offer meaningful pastoral and mentoring support to individuals or small groups.
Work as a key member of our trauma-informed team to build confidence, resilience, self-regulation and positive behaviour.
We are looking for someone who is:
A qualified sports teacher with a minimum of 4 years' experience working within an education or youth setting.
Confident in leading a range of sports, enrichment and outdoor learning activities--including bushcraft, team challenges, or adventure-based learning.
Experienced in or passionate about supporting students with SEMH, SEN and CLA backgrounds--an understanding and empathy to support these students is essential.
Able to deliver sessions with purpose and passion, adapting approaches for diverse learners.

A creative, proactive and flexible team player with a trauma-informed, whole-school mindset.
Skilled in building relationships and using physical activity or enrichment experiences as a tool for engagement and growth.
