Teach South are proud to be supporting an Alternative Provision in Eastleigh who are seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants with a strong

sports background

to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people both

academically and through engaging, active enrichment opportunities

. You will play a key role in pupils' learning, wellbeing and personal development, whilst also getting involved in a wide range of

extra-curricular activities, sports sessions, and school events

during the school day.

The setting supports

secondary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

, so we are looking for individuals who are:

Motivated by helping young people overcome barriers Confident leading and participating in physical activities Able to build positive relationships and model healthy behaviour

What you'll be doing:

Supporting pupil learning across a range of subjects Encouraging engagement and positive behaviour Leading/assisting with sports and enrichment sessions Participating in trips, events and on-site activities Working collaboratively with a skilled, supportive team

What we're looking for:

Experience working with young people (school, coaching, youth work, etc.) Background or strong interest in sport, coaching or physical activity A calm, confident manner and proactive attitude Commitment to helping pupils thrive
