Job Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Therapist to join our team. As a Therapist, you will provide professional guidance, therapeutic interventions, and support to clients facing various challenges.

Responsibilities



Conduct individual therapy sessions tailored to the needs of clients. Develop and implement personalised treatment plans based on client needs and progress. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with organisational policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Stay updated on best practices in therapy.

Skills



Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues. Empathy and active listening skills to understand client concerns deeply. Problem-solving abilities to develop effective treatment strategies tailored to individual needs. Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities is advantageous. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in practice. Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for documentation purposes is beneficial but not essential. Want to work alongside an Osteopath with 20+ years' experience in chronic back pain and sports injury management? Stockwood Osteopathic & Sports Injury Clinic is ready to welcome you! Key Responsibilities



Provide a range of sports therapy treatments tailored to each client. Collaborate with Osteopaths and healthcare professionals for effective care. Create strengthening and exercise programmes for individual client needs.

Requirements



Current UK resident. BSc Sports Therapy or higher. Great with people, able to build relationships with clients from all backgrounds. Passion for helping others and delivering excellent client care. Able to work independently and as part of a team.

A Typical Day at Stockwood Osteopaths



8:00am:

Coffee, prep, and ready to start changing lives.

8:00-11:00am:

4-5 patient sessions (hands-on, rehab, or laser therapy).

11:00-11:30am:

Admin, catch-up with the clinic lead.

11:30am-1:00pm:

3 patient sessions, plus mentoring.

1:00-2:00pm:

Lunch--stretch, Eeat, and relax.

2:00-3:30pm:

3 patient slots, helping patients hit milestones.

3:30-4:30pm:

Project time--social content, new services, shadowing assessments.

4:30-5:30pm:

Mentoring--tackle tricky cases, get pro tips, and keep growing.

5:30pm:

Day done, patients happy, and you leave knowing you made a difference.
