We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sports therapist to join our healthcare team on Friday afternoons and Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to develop tailored treatment plans that enhance patient recovery and improve their quality of life.
Duties
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions and needs.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Utilise various therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery, including manual therapy, exercise programmes, and education.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with medical standards.
Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes and preventative measures.
Stay updated on advancements in sports therapy practices and medical terminology.
Experience
Previous experience in an outpatient environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology is essential.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
