The role:



Our ideal candidate will have very good analytical background, with strong mathematical skills and knowledge of a P&L. They must have excellent communication skills, and the ability to communicate to different stakeholders at all levels across the business. We are looking for someone with great enthusiasm and drive, that has a keen interest in helping to drive the business forward and enhance our existing product.





What you will do:


Working as a member of our trading team on our in-house trading platform. Responsibility for the accurate and timely provision of events, markets and odds for our proprietary trading platform. These would be both feed driven and manually created. Responsibility for liabilities and positions across the entire Sports betting product (trading). Responsibility for the monitoring and responding to activity or information that could impact the profitability of the Sportsbook betting product. Monitor appropriate competitor markets and take action as required. Assist Risk Management with the identification of a customer's / group of customers' risk profile. May be required to assist in day to day sportsbook operations alongside your core responsibilities. Coordinate with the internal Sportsbook team on Strategy, Marketing, Promotional and Operational issues. There will be a requirement to work a shift pattern including evenings, weekends and bank holidays to meet the needs of the business. Ensure that you adhere to the Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) obligations for your role. Identify and raise any non-compliance incidents promptly to your line manager. Challenge processes, policies and projects that will negatively impact compliance within the Group. Complete all mandatory compliance training assigned to you. Reach out to the Compliance Teams if unsure of any of your compliance obligations or the requirements are unclear.

Your experience:


In depth demonstrable knowledge of the methods and maths that apply to Sports bookmaking. Passionate about sports betting with a thorough understanding of most global sports . Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver solutions in exacting timelines and demanding environments. Strong understanding of Microsoft office products particularly Excel. Understanding of customer profiling and behavioural trends. Hard working, flexible and enthusiastic about meeting challenges with solutions. Industry experience is desirable but not essential for this role as comprehensive training will be provided. Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is essential. Shift patterns are variable, to include days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays and may also include early, evening and night working hours.
