Overview

We are seeking a skilled Spot Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fly press and flange press work. This role requires a strong understanding of welding techniques and the ability to work with power and hand tools effectively. Responsibilities

Operate spot welding machines to join metal components accurately. Fabricate and assemble parts according to engineering specifications and drawings. Perform quality checks on welds to ensure they meet industry standards. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Skills

Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to welding tasks. Experience with sheet metal fabrication and assembly techniques. Knowledge of stick welding and other welding methods is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Attention to detail and precision in executing welds for high-quality results.

We are currently only looking for Night Shift workers and this position will be entitled to a 20% shift allowance.

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
