Job Summary



We are seeking a skilled and motivated

Spray Painter

to join our precision manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting components to meet strict technical and quality requirements. This role involves working with specialist water-based paints and epoxy primers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with traceability and quality standards. Duties



Apply

water-based specialist paints

and

epoxy primers

to components to a consistently high standard. Read, interpret, and work accurately from

technical data sheets

and specifications. Operate and maintain

spray-painting equipment

and related tools, ensuring all equipment remains in good working condition. Carry out

component masking and surface preparation

prior to painting. Maintain full

batch control and traceability

records for all painted components to meet audit requirements. Manage workloads effectively, meeting deadlines and responding to

time-critical production needs

. Perform

job booking, tracking, and completion

within the company's management systems. Support logistics and workflow processes to ensure the smooth operation of the paint department. Work in full compliance with company

Health & Safety policies

and quality management systems. Participate in

continuous improvement activities

to enhance paint processes and efficiency.

Experience and Qualifications



Demonstrated ability to

paint to a high-quality standard

. Experience within an

aerospace or precision manufacturing environment

is preferred but not essential.

GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)

in English and Maths. Experience in

masking

within a paint or metal finishing environment is advantageous. Strong

communication and interpersonal skills

with the ability to work collaboratively and independently. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency.

Hours:

39 hours per week

Working Schedule:

Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am - 1:00pm
