We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at our newly fitted out paint site which is equipped with two Dalby paint ovens and Graco automatic plural component mixing systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
4 Day working week - Mon-Thurs 7am-5.30pm
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard of quality and in accordance with project specifications.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with the finished product.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site.
Skills
Proficient in 2 pack painting techniques and methods.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics.
Minimum of 1 year experience in an industrial production blasting and painting environment
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.
