Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for painting and a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality finishes on various surfaces. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Select and mix paints, stains, and finishes according to specifications. Apply paint using spray equipment to achieve desired results. Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand project requirements and timelines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety protocols are followed. Ensure all work areas are kept clean and organised throughout the painting process. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary touch-ups as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred. Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients and team members. Ability to drive to various job sites as required. Knowledge of different painting techniques and materials is advantageous. Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39.75 per week
