Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Spray Painter to join our Finishing Team. This role is critical in transforming composite doors into high-quality finished products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial spray painting and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
Key Responsibilities:Apply paint with precision using spray guns and tools on composite doors and frames.
Monitor and adjust drying times to ensure high-quality finishes.
Oversee the preparation of surfaces prior to painting, including slab preparation and visual quality checks.
Supervise mixing of paints using computerised systems for accurate colour matching.
Ensure safe storage and correct usage of paints within specified timeframes.
Meet daily production targets in a high-volume paint booth setting.
Identify and report defects before painting to prevent quality issues.
Perform touch-up and blending work when required.
Maintain and clean all spray equipment and tools.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including PPE usage.
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Skills & Experience Required:Minimum 2 years' experience as a dedicated spray painter in a manufacturing or similar environment.
Proficient with industrial spray-painting equipment and techniques.
Strong eye for colour accuracy and quality assurance.
Familiar with solvent and water-based paints and mixing systems.
Good understanding of production processes.
Ability to work unsupervised and take initiative.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexible and adaptable to business needs and changing priorities.
Working Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday

The Quality Control Technician reports to the QHSE Manager. The Quality Control Technician performs quality control inspections, checks, and tests during the manufacture of products. Inspects materials, parts and products at different stages of production. Records observations and may make recommendations for improving processes.
