Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for painting and a keen eye for detail. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship that meets our standards. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Apply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Ensure consistent colour application and finish quality across all projects. Communicate effectively with team members to understand project requirements and timelines. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, reporting any issues as necessary. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in painting or a related field is preferred. Ability to drive to various job sites as required. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of different types of paints and finishes is advantageous.

Pay: 15.50-21.00 per hour
