General Description:
To ensure that the Goods-In operation is managed effectively and efficiently ensuring high levels of accuracy and punctuality at all times
Key Tasks:
Motivate the individuals within the team in order to generate a vibrant, positive, team orientated culture which is focussed on delivering outstanding service
Strive, with the other members of the Goods-In team, to achieve all of the departments objectives
Resolve internal department differences with the aim and objective to consistently improve working relationships within Goods-In
Manage the deliveries into the Parkway site
Ensure stock is replenished as soon as possible
Ensure goods are counted and Quality controlled as necessary on arrival
Ensure all relevant documentation is received with deliveries
Monitor and manage team performance and identify areas for improvement
Carrying out performance management for under-achieving members of staff
Carrying out investigations when required
Ensure work is carried out to the timescales set
Communicate and feedback within your team
Update Access with goods received information
Work to deadlines as set out by the Warehouse Site Supervisor/Warehouse Site Manager
Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
Ensure that the Goods-In area is kept clean and tidy
Work closely with the Warehouse Site Supervisor to identify any staff training requirements
Work closely with the Quality and Stock Auditor
Work closely with the Purchasing Department regarding any issues
MHE check sheets for forklifts and reach trucks are up-to-date
To liaise with VNA drivers and other teams when deliveries are being taken round
Work closely with the Apex report making sure BG 999 / Transfer stock is cleared down daily
Ensure all goods are receipted and booked in Promptly

Have a can do approach to all tasks
Good IT skills
Proven ability to add value to existing processes and procedures
Ability to maintain a professional standard at all times
Education/work experience requirements:
Previous experience of a Team Leader role within a Warehouse
Goods knowledge of Warehousing processes and procedures
Experience of managing a team
Educated to GCSE Standard or above
FLT Licence holder
Counter balance licence holder
VNA licence holder
