Majestic Joinery are looking for an experienced sprayer/finisher to join our fast paced workshop creating high end bespoke joinery and furniture for residential and commercial fit outs across the UK.
Here at Majestic Joinery, we pride ourselves on a true understanding of custom design, bespoke joinery and specialist fabrications. We work with Clients and Designers turning concepts into detailed workshop designs, and then manufacture and install as a complete bespoke project.
Our Commercial Projects include offices, restaurants, gyms, retail outlets, sales and marketing suites and other customer facing spaces.
The role comprises of end point finishing to all joinery and cabinetry, which includes but is not limited to; preparation of surfaces, sanding, spray painting in spray booths using specialised equipment, hand painting, quality control and wrapping of complete items.
Duties
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking prior to spraying
Operate spray equipment, including sprayers, power tools, and hand tools
Mix paints or coatings according to specified formulations using basic maths skills
Apply coatings evenly across different surfaces, ensuring consistent coverage and finish
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assist with fabrication or assembly tasks as required within the scope of the role
Support warehouse activities related to materials handling and storage when necessary
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Candidates should have good attention to detail and be able to manage their workload within set timescales/schedules.
You will be required to work within a team and communicate clearly with all members of the team including designers and management.
Experience
Previous experience in warehouse operations, construction painting, or fabrication is preferred
Familiarity with spraying systems and the use of hand tools and power tools
Basic understanding of joinery/furniture manufacture is a plus
Experience working with industrial coatings is desirable
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for mixing and measurements
Practical knowledge of assembly processes
Driving licence is essential.
Being able to read from CAD/SolidWorks drawings are preferred.
