Sprinkler Fitters Mate / Improver
to join our growing team based in the Glasgow area covering the whole of Scotland.
We're looking for a reliable Fitters Mate to join our team and support the sprinkler installation team. This is a hands-on role that requires reliability, a good work ethic, and a willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing
Support Fitters with installing sprinkler systems - including pipework, supports, heads, and valves
Help gather and organise tools, materials, and fixings ahead of tasks
Keep the work area clean, safe, and well organised
Carry out basic tasks like cutting and prepping pipework under supervision
Follow clear instructions from Fitters, Senior Fitters, and Foremen
Assist with unloading deliveries and storing materials correctly
Follow site safety procedures, wear correct PPE, and follow RAMS
Report any hazards or issues to the Fitter or site supervisor promptly
What You'll Bring
Previous experience in a construction or mechanical services environment (Desirable but not essential)
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Good communication and teamwork skills
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
A valid CSCS card and Full UK driving licence are essential
